Audi S3

The Audi S3 is the best of both worlds, it is small and practical and still has plenty of performance and power to keep up with most similar cars in it’s class. With a 2.0 TFSI turbo charged four-cylinder producing 296BHP for the size of the car and the four wheel drive system the S3 grips to the road and can easily deliver it’s performance ability.Where does the S3 sit in the market? With the similar performance the Volkswagen Golf R with nearly the same power and 4 wheel drive system is a strong competitor for the S3.While the BMW M140i,Mercedes A45 AMG and the RS3 having more power and performance, the S3 is the cheaper more affordable version and is still fast enough.

Running Cost

With the reasonably sized 2.0l engine the S3 can produce a great 41MPg with the S tronic gearbox when driven sensibly. And the six speed manual gearbox produces 40MPG.For a great spec low mileage S tronic S3 you are looking at paying around £25,000 which is a lot of car for the money, and a big difference in price between it’s competior’s.Overall if driven sensibly the S3 can be efficient and fun, with a road tax price of £190 a year.It is also recomended that you service the S3 every 10,000 miles or every year which ever comes first.
