Mercedes ML review
The Mercedes ML class is a practical, stylish and comfortable 4×4. The new Mercedes ML class has a powerful V6 diesel engine which is powerful and efficient. While the competitors of the Mercedes being the BMW X5 and the Porsche Cayenne, the Mercedes sits in between these two.Mercedes have recently brought out multiple new 4x4s however the ML is the most original. The ML started production in 1998, then Mercedes re-designed the ML in 2005 and then again in 2012 which is the most recent model. However the new model of ML has been re named to the GLE class in 2016.
Mercedes released many different models of the ML being the 250 bluetec,350 4 matic,420 cdi,500,350 bluetec, cdi sport,320 cdi,350 and the most recent models being the sport,AMG sport and the AMG line. The AMG line optional extra list is endless ranging from performance steering wheel,360 degrees parking cameras to a carbon fibre engine cover.
The new more efficient four-cylinder ML 250 is powered by a 2.2 litre V6 diesel engine producing 20BHP and has a 0-60 time of 8.7 seconds, still with an impressive 44MPG.The other model of ML is the ML350 powered by a 3.0 litre diesel engine producing 254BHP and has a 0-60 time of 7.2 which is a second faster and the MPG is still impressive being 39MPG. However these cars are not made for performance they are practical with a huge boot and plenty of room for the family, the 19″ alloy wheels cater for a smooth ride and hardly any cabin noise .For a nice low mileage ML250 prices start from roughly £28,000 and the bigger ML350 AMG Line starts from roughly £33,000.
