Officially, the Mercedes Benz E-Class range first saw the light of day in 1993, but its roots can be traced to the W120 series which was originally launched way back in 1953.

The Mercedes E-Class first arrived back in 1993 however its roots can be traced right back to as early as the 1950’s through the Ponton Mercedes Saloon. Now, 26 years later the Current Mercedes E-Class is in its 5th generation and arrived in 2016. It is still one of the leading choices in the executive saloon class and rivals the likes of the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series.
