BMW Models Explained

Title: BMW Models Explained. The infographic is split into four sections to explain BMW models. First Section: BMW Series one to eight, the mainstream of BMW models go from one to eight and typically references the overall size of the vehicle. The odd number series, 3,5 and 7 are based on saloon cars and the even numbers 4,6 and 8 are based on coupes. Second Section: BMW X Series like the mainstream series, the number denotes the overall size of the vehicle. The X models are BMW's line-up of Sport Utility Vehicles, or SUVs, and range from one to eight. In addition, the odd-numbered models have a more conventional SUV shape and the even-numbered models have a coupe-like shape. Third Section: BMW i Series is a range of electric BMW models. There are currently 5 models in the i series. The i3, i4 and i8 are similar to their mainstream counterparts in terms of size and power, but they utilise both all-electric engines and plug-in hybrids. BMW iX3 and iX are BMW's electric SUV options, offering much more space to complement their cutting-edge electric vehicle technology. Fourth Section: The M Series refers to high-performance cars. The M stands for motorsport and the series was originally created to facilitate BMW's racing program. However, M Sport BMW vehicles usually refer to a trim level that offers a sport-focused style and a firmer suspension instead of a more powerful engine.
