In brief, click and collect is a convenient and easy way to buy your car online. The process of click and collect involves you browsing, finding a car you like, reserve it for a certain amount and then arrange a date and time good for you to pick up in person.
Let’s take a look at buying a car online with Rix to delve into how it works a little more.
The Process
Step One
With over 300 cars in stock, including Ford Fiestas, Mercedes Benz C-Class and Range Rover Sports, there’s something for everyone. If you’re stuck on which to choose to suit your budget and lifestyle, you can always refine your search using our filter options or contact our team who can help to advise you.
Step Two
Next, you can begin your buying journey by reserving your chosen vehicle for £100 by filling out the form and a member of our sales team will be in touch to take your deposit.
Step Three
Pay your remaining balance. You can either do this by paying outright, or take advantage of our hire purchase finance options. We’ll then arrange a time that suits you to come and collect your vehicle.
Step Four
When you arrive to collect you can inspect the vehicle and ensure you’re happy with it, the car is yours to drive away!
Can I part exchange my old car when I click and collect?
Yes, you can. Simply fill out our part exchange valuation form, which is available on the vehicle page. Once you’ve filled out the basic details, we can give you an up to date market value of your vehicle that you can use to offset against the current price of the new car you’re interested in buying.
We ensure:
To value any vehicle, of any age, in any condition.
To complete a secure bank transfer (same day).
We pay what we say (as long as described correctly we will not try to chip away at your agreed price.)
To get a quote in seconds.
There are no hidden admin fees.
Once you’ve been given a value, you can drop your old vehicle in so we can inspect it when you come to collect your new one. Please bare in mind though that your valuation may be subject to change, whether that means the price goes up or down, after inspection.
Can I buy a car online if I have existing finance?
Don't worry if you're in the middle of a finance agreement (HP or PCP) on your present car and want to trade it in for a new vehicle you wish to buy online. We recommend consulting with your lender because there may be a minimum term in your agreement that prevents you from switching, but you may be nearing the end of it, allowing you to settle on a settlement agreement. You can also get in touch with us to see what we can do for you.
If you require any more information regarding click and collect we’re always here to answer any questions. You can contact us by phone or email, or come on by our dealership in Warrington, Cheshire for an in person chat.
